The Keto Cheesy Center Burger is a real winner that has a surprise melted cheese center the entire family will love. It’s a simple recipe that is sure to impress at dinner, lunch or your next family cookout.

Let’s get started with our ingredient list.

1/2 Pound Ground Beef.

1 1/2 Tbsp Onion Powder.

1 1/2 Tsp Parsley Flakes.

1/4 Tsp Black Pepper.

2 Tsp Pink Himalayan Salt.

1/2 ounce of Sharp Cheddar Cheese Per Burger.

1 1/2 Tbsp Tin Star Brown Butter.

First, in a glass bowl, add ground beef, onion powder, parsley flakes, black pepper, and salt. Mix by hand making sure that all of the ingredients are completely incorporated into the ground beef.

Divide the meat into either two quarter pound burgers or four eighth pound burgers. Using your hands, take each portion of meat and make what will look like a large meatball.

Use your hand to flatten the meatball into a patty, making sure it’s not too thin. Don’t worry if it isn’t perfectly round.

If you don’t like sharp cheddar, you can use any cheese you like including blue cheese and brie as long as it melts well. Avoid cheeses like gouda that won’t fully melt.

Place 1/2 ounce of sharp cheddar cheese or the cheese of your choice in the center of the patty.

Fold sides of the patty over the top of the cheese, making sure to completely cover the cheese.

After folding over the edges of the patty, make it into a meatball again and slightly flatten. Do not leave any holes that will allow the cheese to leak out while you are cooking it.

Place burger in a preheated pan over a medium heat that you added the 1 1/2 tablespoons of Tin Star Brown Butter. Don’t worry about it burning because it has a very high smoke point. The Tin Star Brown Butter adds a wonderful flavor that I highly recommend and I am sure you will enjoy. You can also use bacon grease if you prefer but avoid using regular butter as it will probably burn.

Cook each side for approximately 10 minutes in a cast iron pan or the pan of your choice, depending on your oven temperature. I suggest making a single burger first to test that your temperature and time are correct as stove temperatures do vary.

Remove your Keto Cheesy Center Burger from the pan, place on a plate and let rest for 3-5 minutes so the juices in the meat have time to reabsorb. Then cut into it to finally reveal a delicious cheese center that should melt right onto your plate.
