Keto Bread Recipe
Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. Melt your Butter either on the stove or in the microwave. Separate the egg yolks from the whites. Then add the whites and the cream of Tartar to a bowl and beat with a mixer until you have soft peaks. In a separate bowl, add the egg yolks, 1/3 of the soft peak egg whites, baking powder, melted butter, salt, and the almond flour. Use a mixer to make the dough. Don’t be alarmed that the dough slightly thick, it’s supposed to be that way. Add the rest of the soft peak egg whites to your mixture and gently fold in until fully mixed. You want to be gentle with it so it stays fluffy. If you overmix it, your bread will become dense. Butter your loaf pan on all sides and add your mixture. Bake for 30 minutes. Test with a toothpick to make sure it is baked all the way through. Let cool for a few minutes. It should come out of the pan nicely, although you may have to use a knife around the edges to release it.
If you cut this loaf into 20 slices the net carbs are 1.25g and 7g of fat. You may choose to cut you slices thicker, in which case you adjust the net carbs accordingly. This bread has a slightly eggy flavor but it definitely has a nice bread texture. I like to eat it with either a generous serving of butter or toasted with a slice of tomato, a couple of pieces of thick cut bacon and some mayo. However you choose to eat it, you will love this Keto Bread Recipe. Enjoy!
